Alpha & Omega Youth

6th – 12th Graders

Alpha & Omega exists to equip the youth of Hope Chapel and all who come through our doors to face the world and to be a light in that world. We strive to provide an environment that first honors God and is inviting to all no matter where they are in their faith journey. All of our teachings are biblically based. Our hope is to instill in our youth that being a follower of Christ is an intimate relationship with daily prayer and devotion.

ALPHA – MONDAY 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM/ GRADES 6-8

Come and continue to grow in your faith by digging deeper into God’s word. We have a great time sharing a meal together every week followed by some fun games and activities. We spend quality time in praise and worship. We finish our time with bible study and prayer.

OMEGA – WEDNESDAY 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM / GRADES 9-12

Students are faced with obstacles all week; we hope that at least one night a week they can come be equipped to face these challenges. A premium is placed on sharing a meal together with students and staff members so that we can better serve them. Through various activities, praise and worship our prayer is that students be revived.

Several times a year, we will be heading outside the church walls to serve and just have fun together. We participate in service projects throughout the community such as yard clean up, visitation, and various service projects. We also just love to hang out and have fun with activities like bowling, trampoline park, Six Flags, scavenger hunts and trips to Boston just to name a few.

Every summer our students go on Mission both nationally and internationally. Our national mission trip is called MFuge. We have been on mission to South Africa, Dominican Republic, Poland, South Carolina, Maine, Kentucky, Nashville, Philly, Boston, Florida, Norwich, and Worcester.

Each fall students pack up and head off for a kick-off, spiritual getaway weekend.

At the end of January, the youth participate in the Baptist Convention of New England sponsored retreat “ Youth Encountering Christ” with over 800 students from around New England.

In the summer, students who have completed 6-12 grade participate in week long experience held on the campus of Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. This week has been is life-changing experience for many of our students.
