Neal Davidson
Lead Pastor
Hope Chapel’s founding and Lead Pastor since 2002. Neal provides weekly teaching and preaching among general leadership to all aspects of Hope. He is involved in helping local pastors thrive and helps train pastors in Rwanda. Neal is a native of Massachusetts and loves serving in his home state. He previously planted a church on the South Shore as well as served on the Leadership Team of a regional denominational staff. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bates College in Lewiston Maine in Economics and has a Master’s of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Among his hobbies are enjoying summer boat rides on Lake Winnipesauke and golfing. He lives in Sterling with his wife Christina, has two grown sons, Joshua and Benjamin, and two grandchildren.

Ken Hall
Pastor of Students
Ken joined the staff in 2003. Ken provides leadership to all aspects of student ministry from teaching, developing a teen worship team, and sending students on mission. Ken also provides oversight to the young adult ministry. Ken is a native of Massachusetts from the Boston area. He graduated from Gordon College, majoring in Youth Ministry and has been serving youth for the last 25 years. He has served both urban and suburban churches. He has been involved with youth ministry initiatives both locally, nationally, and internationally. He speaks at summer camps and has taken teens on foreign missions in 6 countries over the years. He lives in Sterling with his wife Jen and their 3 children (Caleb, Asher and Naomi). Ken enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Steve Blumer
Pastor of Family & Adults
Steve joined the staff in 2012 as a pastor to children. In 2014, he became the Pastor of Family and Adults. Steve provides oversight to adult discipleship through Life Groups, Discipleship Groups, Deacons, parenting and marriage initiatives and serving roles. He also provides oversight to our graphics, website, and social media. He is a native of Iowa and earned his B.A. in Missions and Bible from Baptist Bible College and a Master of Divinity (minor in Biblical Counseling) from Baptist Bible Theological Seminary (Spfld, MO). Steve lives in Sterling with his wife Tina (native to MA) and 4 children (Evan – grown out of the home, Mike, Alyssa, and Andrew). They’ve been involved in foster care and have adopted a sibling group of 3. Steve works in graphics and web design for other mission agencies and local small businesses.

Christina Davidson
Worship Leader
Hope Chapel’s founding worship leader. Christina provides oversight to Sunday morning worship and the technology teams. Having been around music all her life, Christina has a passion to see people celebrate Truth and connect with God through congregational worship. She has a music degree from the University of North Texas. She has facilitated regional seminars on worship and has taught piano to dozens of children over the years. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with Neal, driving her motorcycle, working out, and watching most any kind of sport. She lives in Sterling with her husband Neal, has two grown sons, Joshua and Benjamin, and two grandchildren.

Jay Tilley
Children’s Ministry Director
Jay joined the staff in 2019. Jay gives oversight to our children’s ministry through teaching on Sundays and training volunteer teams. He is a native of North Carolina. He earned his B.A. (in Bible and Church Administration) from Piedmont Baptist International University in Winston-Salem, NC, a M. Ed. (in elementary education) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an M.Div. from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, GA. Jay spent several years teaching, primarily kindergarten and second grade, in the North Carolina Public School System and has been in pastoral ministry for the past 12 years. Jay lives in Winchendon, MA with his wife Amy and their 6 children. Jay’s hobbies are reading, writing (children’s stories), and fishing with his children.

Charlotte Mullane
Partnership Director/Admin Assistant
Charlotte joined the staff in 2023 as an Admin Assistant and Partnership Director. She provides overall assistance to the staff, church ministries, and communications of the church. She also oversees and develops local outreaches and mission trips. Charlotte was born and raised in Massachusetts and came to Hope Chapel with her family when she was in the sixth grade. She has served on staff at the YMCA, the BCNE, and with FUGE Camps. She recently graduated from Worcester State University in Public Health and Business Administration with courses focused on Global Studies. She has a passion for New England ministry and missions work. She enjoys playing tennis, being with her friends and family, going out for coffee, and traveling!
